ECR Sherry Bath - PI Director

Pilot Club of Oakridge, TN

The North Carolina District Pilot International welcomes Sherry Bath as our ECR for the 2020-2021 Club Year!

Happy New Pilot Year!  I would like to introduce myself…

I have lived in Tennessee for almost 43 years, moving here from the suburbs of Chicago in November 1977.  My husband Michael and I married in October 1994, and celebrate our 26th Anniversary this fall. Together, we have 3 sons, 3 daughter-in-laws and 3 grandchildren.  I love being a Nana!!  I am one of six children, third in line and the oldest daughter.  My father passed away in December 2011, and my mother celebrates 91 years of age this August 2020, and lives nearby in Knoxville, TN.

I have worked for the Oak Ridge Schools at Willow Brook Elementary School for 32 years; as the Secretary to the Counselor and Registrar, Bookkeeper and Administrative Assistant to the Principal, serving 5 Principals during my tenure at Willow Brook.  I love where I work and the people I work with.  It’s a joy to get up every weekday morning and head to “school”!

My favorite activities include spending time with my grands, my friends, my mom, and daddy-in-law as much as possible; eating out; traveling with family or friends; working in the yard; seasonal decorating; Tennessee football; and of course, PILOT!

Sponsored by my dear friend Debby Hall, I joined Pilot in October 1998, so I will be celebrating 22 years in Pilot this October!  I am a member of the Pilot Club of Oak Ridge and have served in many capacities at the local, district , and international levels.  I love being a Pilot and being part of a service organization that truly cares about serving our others.  I have made many new and lasting friendships across the State, the country and beyond because of Pilot.  I am excited to begin this new journey as a Pilot International Director, and even more excited to be serving the North Carolina District as your Executive Committee Representative.  I look forward to meeting you all and making new Pilot friends.  Being a Pilot is truly a blessing in my life.

 In Pilot friendship and service,
