THE NC DISTRICT SUPPORTS PILOT INTERNATIONAL FOUNDATION:
Each year, the North Carolina District clubs and members support the
efforts of Pilot International Foundation (PIF) through a multitude of
activities. A member or club may choose to participate in one or more of
the many opportunities offered by PIF. Further information may be
secured through the Pilot International Foundation link on the Pilot
International website.
Ways NC Clubs Support PIF:
PIF SWEETHEART:
Date Due: September 30 Amount: $25 minimum
Recognition: Each NC District club nominates one member per the
guidelines and presents PIF Sweetheart certificate, usually during
September, Foundation month.
NC DISTRICT PACESETTER CONTRIBUTIONS:
Date Due: February 1 Amount: $5 per active, dues-paying member
Individual/Club Opportunities from the NC District:
HONORARIUM
ANY gift can be made to ANY FUND in honor of any person or organization.
MEMORIAL
ANY gift can be made to ANY FUND in memory of any person or
organization.
GOAL FOR GRANTS & SCHOLARSHIPS
Date due: February 1 to be recognized at the NC District Conventions
Amount: $250 per club or individual for ‘250 Club’ recognition
For: PIF’s Matching Grants, Emergency Response Grants, and
Scholarship programs
PILOT INTERNATIONAL FOUNDATION ENDOWMENT
For: To raise money for an endowed fund where the interest gained will
be used for programs and services of PIF.
PILOT INTERNATIONAL HERITAGE CENTER FUND
For: To raise funds to support the new Pilot International Heritage Center.
Pilot international Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization. All donations by
individuals, companies and corporations are tax-deductible.
